Canton Man Arrested, Charged in New Philadelphia Shooting Death

NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – There’s a Canton connection to that homicide in New Philadelphia last week.
New Philadelphia police say 19-year-old Sajjaad Butler is charged with aggravated murder in the Friday morning shooting death of 22-year-old Gaven Carlisle.
That shooting on 11th Street NW.
Butler claims he fired in self-defense.
Police are looking for three other men who were there at the time.
