Canton Man Gets 25-to-Life in December Shooting Death

CANTON, Ohio (News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – A Canton convicted killer was sentenced to 25 years to life on Thursday for the shooting death of an Akron man.
25-year-old Curtis Williams was found guilty by a jury last week of shooting 29-year-old Donte Alexander to death.
Prosecutors say Williams fired into an SUV carrying Alexander and two other men on Midway Avenue NE in Canton back in December.
One of those other men 25-year-old Mitch Greenlief of Canton pleaded to an obstruction charge and will do 2 and a half years.
