Canton Man Indicted in Valentine’s Day Killing

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A 38-year-old Canton man has been indicted on murder charges in the February shooting death of a city man.
Roscoe Alford of Canton was arrested shortly after 33-year-old Adrian Armstead entered an apartment unit in the 1200 block of 8th Street NE at Bender Avenue and was shot several times.
He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Alford hid in his girlfriend’s adjacent apartment until police found him.
That girlfriend 37-year-old Alicia Benson also faces charges.
Ohers are charged as well.
