CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Two Canton police officers entered written “not guilty” pleas at their arraignment hearings in Stark County Common Pleas Court on Friday morning.

They are charged with reckless homicide in the in-custody death of 53-year-old Frank Tyson in Canton Township back in April.

25-year-old Beau Schoenegge and 24-year-old Camden Burch are both free on bond.

They did spend last weekend in the Stark County jail.

The two officers are back on administrative leave with the department.

Tyson died while being held down on the floor of the AMVETS Club on Sherrick Road SE.
