Canton Officers Face Pre-Trial Hearing Next Week

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The next event on the legal calendar for the Canton police officers facing charges in the April in-custody death of a Canton Township man is November 21.
That’ll be a pre-trial hearing for 25-year-old Beau Schoenegge and 24-year-old Camden Burch.
The pair pleaded not guilty on paper to reckless homicide charges Friday in the death of 53-year-old Frank Tyson.
They are on administrative leave from the department.
They had earlier been on leave before returning to limited active duty.
Tyson was being held down on the floor of the AMVETS club on Sherrick Road SE in Canton Township.
He said several times that he couldn’t breathe before becoming motionless.
