Canton Police Make Arrest in April Beating Death of City Man

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Canton police have made an arrest in connection with the killing earlier this year of a city man.
50-year-old Michael Wells of Canton is charged with murder.
He was arrested on Thursday.
Wells is accused in the beating death of 60-year-old Jeffrey Loftus at his home in the 500 block of Cleveland Avenue SW back in April.
Wells is jailed on $500,000 bond.
