Canton Restaurant Shooter Indicted on Aggravated Murder Charge

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The Osnaburg Township man accused of killing a Canton Bob Evans restaurant employee last month has been indicted on an aggravated murder charge by a Stark County grand jury.
He had a court appearance Friday morning.
54-year-old Richard Nelson remains jailed on $2 million bond in the shooting death of 38-year-old Rebecca Rogers of Massillon on April 16.
He also faces a firearms specification.
Canton police say Nelson walked into the Lesh Street NE restaurant and shot Rogers in a rear hallway.
