Case of Man Charged in Son’s Killing Moves to Grand Jury

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The reckless homicide case where a 7-year-old boy was the victim has now been sent to the grand jury for their consideration.

This, after a court hearing Monday.

That’s where a Stark County Sheriff’s office detective told the judge the child’s father, 37-year-old William Dolch, was moving a loaded gun in a Belden Village-area Knights Inn motel room when it accidentally fired, according to the Repository.

That single bullet took the life of his son Ka’Marion.

Dolch was living at the motel at the time.

He remains jailed on $750,000 bond.

He’s also charged with ‘tampering with evidence’ for removing the gun from the room following the June 21 incident.

His girlfriend Brittany Franko who was in the motel room where the shooting happened was arraigned Tuesday on complicity charges.
