Charges: Man Tried To Steal Medic Unit From Hospital

(News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – Apparently this guy needed a ride home after he was released from a Canton hospital.

Zachary Scott Miller is facing a charge of attempted grand theft of a motor vehicle after allegedly trying to steal an ambulance from outside Mercy Medical Center.

According to court records, when the 27-year-old from Hartville was released from Mercy on Tuesday, he tried to take a Plain Township medic unit.

Court records state Miller was stopped by security and hospital staff and taken into custody.

There was no mention in court records why Miller was in the hospital.

His arraignment is scheduled for Friday morning.
