Child Loses Life in Akron House Fire

AKRON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The State Fire Marshal’s Office is assisting in the investigation of a fire in Akron that killed a little girl on Tuesday.
8-year-old Roniah Bartee was pulled from the house by a city firefighter who suffered burns in the attempt.
Bartee died at the hospital.
Everyone else got out OK.
That fire on 18th Street SW in the Kenmore area.
