Companies Chosen to Frack at Carroll Wildlife Area, Other Locations

COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – As a result of a meeting in Columbus on Monday, two companies have been chosen to drill for oil and gas underneath three state natural resources properties, one of them in Carroll County.

Texas-based Encino Energy will be fracking under the Valley Run Wildlife Area, just northwest of Carrollton.

Encino will also drill at the Zepernick Wildlife Area in Columbiana County.

West Virginia-based Infinity Natural Resources wins the bid for fracking at Salt Fork State Park.
