Damaged Canton Ice Cream Shop Reopening for Carryout Only

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – You can’t keep a good local business down.
After a car blew into the dining room at Taggart’s Ice Cream Shop on Fulton Road NW in Canton early on Monday, the restaurant says it is open for carryout business starting Tuesday.
23-year-old Preston Cingle drove a stolen car at high speed into the iconic eatery, says the state patrol.
He faces a number of charges.
Taggart’s says it is operating 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., the usual hours.
