Deadline Approaching for Farmers Making Use of CAUV Program

COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The state’s farmers should be aware of an upcoming deadline, if they’ve been paying lower property taxes based on Ohio’s Current Agricultural Use Value program.
Paperwork must be in to your county auditor’s office before Monday March 6.
Under the program, farmland devoted exclusively to commercial agriculture is valued only for its agricultural use.
