DeWine Not Showing Cards on Vance Replacement

COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC and ONN) – Governor Mike DeWine remains elusive when asked about whom he may choose to replace U.S. Senator JD Vance.

Vance will resign from that position just before being sworn in as Donald Trump’s vice president.

Republicans are very popular right now, so the job is desirable.

But DeWine says he wants someone who will work for Ohio.

He also wants someone who will stay in office until the next Senate Election, which won’t happen until November of 2026.
