‘Diversity, Equity, Inclusion’ Key Hiring at Amazon Canton

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – When you walk in the front door of the Amazon Canton Fulfillment Center, you can see the emphasis the company places on diversity, equity and inclusion.

There are what are called affinity groups at Amazon, designed to promote the importance of women and Black employees, for example.

Center General Manager Anthony Papa says as they brought on their one-thousand employees, they wanted people from diverse backgrounds.

He says associates are regularly educated on diversity, inclusion and equity.
