Dozens Arrested During Sex Sting Operations Around All-Star Game

(ONN) – Authorities say 49 people were arrested during initiatives aimed at sex predators during the days of festivities surrounding baseball’s All-Star Game in Cleveland.

Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael O’Malley has a warning for sex predators.

“We are patrolling the internet and if you are out there seeking to have unlawful contact with children, we will find you, arrest you and hold you accountable.”

He says Operation Triple Play netted 28 people who were trying to have sex with someone they knew was a minor.

And Operation Homerun resulted in 21 arrests for soliciting prostitution.
