ELECTION 2024: Canal Fulton Fire Successfully Explains Additional Tax Measure

CANAL FULTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The Canal Fulton Fire Department was able to successfully tell the story of how they’ll use the proceeds from a 1.6 mill additional levy passed on Tuesday.
They plan to bring a full-time paramedic on board.
Two current levies will drop off over the next year.
The department has mainly part-timers right now while employing a time-sharing agreement with the Lawrence Township Fire Department.
The two entities operate out of the same facilities.
Issue 4 passed with 59-percent support.
