CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Election 2024 has been certified in Stark County, and there’s one automatic recount set for next Tuesday.
The Issue 32 Perry Township 4.9 mill replacement fire levy won by just 43 votes, once all the provisional and late-arriving absentee ballots were added.
It was even closer on Election night.
The Pike Township 0.5 mill additional police levy failed by just 27 votes, but the difference does not fall within the threshold
73.42-percent of the county’s registered voters completed a ballot.
That’s actually a bit lower than in 2020.
President-elect Trump got 60.5-percent of the Stark County vote.
Vice President Kamala Harris got 38.6-percent.
