EP First Responder Health Issues, Governor Returning

EAST PALESTINE, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Derailment first responders are being surveyed for their After Chemical Exposure in East Palestine.

Of the 198 respondents, acording to the governor’s office, most complained of nasal congestion, lung congestion and a burning nose or throat.

446 residents have taken their version of the survey, with 76-percent complaining of headaches.

There’s also anxiety and fatigue.

The governor is back in town Wednesday with healthcare-related news.

And Mike DeWine is also set to testify on the Rail Safety Bill before a Congressional committee this week.
