The YWCA is excited to bring our fundraiser downtown and feature the community that we have been lucky to be apart of for the last 110 years. The YWCA Canton’s Sip and Stroll is an opportunity for the community to come together and explore downtown with a goal of raising $20,000 to support the YWCA and our operations. Not only will dollars raised directly help fund the largest emergency homeless shelter for women and children in Stark County, a five-star Step Up to Quality Early Childhood Learning Center and our three permanent supportive housing complexes, but together, we can lessen the burden for the women, children and families here who simply seek a place to call home. Guests will come to the corner of 4th St. and Court Ave. to begin their “stroll” and will feature food and drinks at registration, a DJ, a special performance from Bull Moose Revival and four exciting raffle prizes. Guests will “stroll” through downtown Canton with new friends and old experience all our community has to offer. Guests who visit 6 or more of the stops will be entered to win the grand prize!
