Family Successfully Collects Funds for Fire Victim

ALLIANCE, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The family of the fire victim in Alliance last week has set up a GoFundMe account.
They’ll be able to pay for cremation expenses now for 55-year-old Frank Rowan, with the account raising more than its original $2000 goal.
Rowan could not a escape a massive house fire in the 1300 block of South Arch Avenue last week.
Two others in the two-story house were able to escape.
They got up on the roof and were rescued by neighbors.
They and residents of a duplex next door are getting assistance from the American Red Cross.
The side of that neighboring house was damaged by the flames.
The State Fire Marshal is working with the Alliance Fire Department, looking for the cause.
That may be a tall order, given the extent of the damage.
