Federal Task Force Helps Canton PD, SCSO Round Up Domestic Violence ‘Fugitives’

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Domestic violence is a prolific crime in Stark County, where alleged perpetrators are often difficult to locate or don’t show up for court.

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force joined the Canton Police Department and county sheriff’s office in the last few weeks, working to arrest 30 people wanted on domestic violence-related charges.

For instance, there’s the case involving 57-year-old Robin Davis, accused by Canton police of trying to stab her live-in boyfriend in the neck on Kolp Place NW off Cleveland Avenue near 37th Street NW.

She’s charged with felonious assault.

The incident happened back in July.
