Feds Indict Portage Man in Disturbing Mailings

CLEVELAND, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A Portage County man has been indicted by the federal government.
He’s accused of sending envelopes containing human waste to Republicans in three states including Ohio and Washington DC.
77-year-old Richard Steinle of Suffield Township made a court appearance on a ‘mailing injurious articles’ count.
Steinle sent 25 such letters to Ohio State Senators.
investigators tracked the former Portage County court mediator down when more letters showed up at the Lakemore post office last month.
