Flood Warning Continued Through Thursday for Tuscarawas

(News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – The Flood Warning remains in effect for the Tuscarawas River in Stark County through Thursday afternoon.
The river was 6 inches over flood stage at 5 a.m. Wednesday at Massillon.
The National Weather Service says it won’t begin to drop significantly until Thursday.
Route 62 was closed at the south end of Navarre, with water covering the road.
Canal Fulton Sees Flash, River Flooding
The flooding in Canal Fulton is nothing short of historic.
The county EMA says water levels from the river were the 4th highest ever on Tuesday night, and the river was still rising.
Water had reached up to businesses in the Canalway Center.
