Former Luncheon Club Treasurer Enters Plea in Theft Case

(News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – The former longtime treasurer for the Hall of Fame Luncheon Club has pleaded guilty to charges related to the theft of money from the group.
71-year-old David Seffens of Canton pled to an aggravated theft charge on Wednesday.
Prosecutors say Seffens took $216,000 from the club between 2006 and 2018.
He’ll be sentenced later.
The speakers’ club is not affiliated with the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
