Kim Chhay,  coordinator of the Office of Student Diversity and Alfredo Carranza, head of the Latino Business League were guest son the Gary Rivers Show Tuesday morning to let the public know about the Sept 25th event.

Traditional Latin food, music and dance will be part of the free Hispanic Heritage Celebration 2019 set for Sept. 25 from 12:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. in M100 at Stark State College, 6200 Frank Ave. NW., North Canton.

Sessions also will feature helpful information about economic development; fair housing and resources, jobs and assistance for local Latinos; the minority perspective on diversity and inclusion in the workplace; LGBTQ+ in the Latino community; and youth panel discussions on Latino diversity.

The festival is sponsored by the Stark State Office of Student Diversity and the Latino Business League, Inc.
