Free Ohio Department of Agriculture Seed Opportunities in Stark

REYNOLDSBURG, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Coronavirus restrictions got many people outside in their backyards, planting gardens.

And the Ohio Department of Agriculture and OSU Extension offices are helping out with that hobby.

They’re offering free seed sample kits for those taking a crack at trying to grow their own food.

One opportunity to get those kits is coming up, at Sunday’s Earth Day event at Kent State Stark from 1 to 4.

And there’s another opportunity Saturday May 20 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. during the Stark County Master Gardener Volunteer Program Plant Expo at the Stark County Fairgrounds
