FRIDAY UPDATE: 3rd Day of 300+ New Cases

COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – For the first time in over ten days, the state reported a third consecutive day with the number of new coronavirus cases over 300 on Friday.

Just eight of those cases were out of Stark County.

The state also added 14 deaths.

Active hospitalizations have fallen to around 200.

Fri July 9

Ohio: 1,113,737 cases (+354),
20,380 deaths (+14)
Stark: 33,506 cases (+8),
936 deaths (same)
