Goe Faces Sentencing After Conviction in Raychel Sheridan Killing

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Sentencing is a week from today for Sean Goe, the Plain Township man found guilty on Friday of beating his girlfriend Raychel Sheridan to death.

The murder conviction for the 27-year-old man carries a prison term of 15 years to life.

The trial lasted four days in Judge Frank Forchione’s courtroom.

Sheriff’s investigators say Goe hit the 24-year-old woman at least ten times in the head back in June.

She was hit at least once with a hammer.

The killing occurred at the apartment the two shared on Orchard Dale Drive NW.

Sheridan’s body was found in a trash can in a Canton city park.
