SEPT 11TH: Governor Asks Flags be Flown at Half Staff for Patriot Day

COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Governor DeWine asks that all U.S. and state flags be flown at half-staff on Patriot Day.

It’s to honor the nearly 3000 Americans and others killed in the terror attacks of September 11, 2001.

He also asks that we observe a moment of silence at 8:46 a.m.

That’s the time the first hijacked plane hit the North Tower of the World Trade Center.
