Governor Hears Pleas, Asks Flags be Flown at Half Staff

(News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – The governor has ordered flags across Ohio be flown at half staff indefinitely because of the mass shooting in Dayton.

The governor heard cries of “do something” as he spoke at a vigil in Dayton Sunday night.

The shouts grew louder as the governor continued to speak.

Congressman and presidential candidate Tim Ryan says Congress should immediately end its August recess and reconvene in Washington to take up a package of legislation meant to stop these acts of horror.
