AKRON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A session of the Summit County grand jury will soon consider charges against Akron police officers.
Akron’s mayor says that panel will hear the evidence next week in the Jayland Walker police-involved shooting case.
Walker was shot dead last June when eight city officers fired at him.
The city has begun boarding up windows and setting up fencing and concrete barriers, with the possibility of unrest if there’s no indictment.
