Guardians Skipper Terry Francona tells MLB Podcast “It’s Time”

It’s finally made it into national sports news coverage…….Cleveland Guardians Manager Terry Francona strongly hinted Tuesday that he will retire at the end of the baseball season.  He spoke during an interview on an MLB podcast and said “My body is telling me that, my head is telling me that…I’ve been pretty clear with the guys I work for and told them to start preparing because it’s time.”    The 64-year-old has battled an array of health issues over the recent years.

The Guardians final home game is September 27th against the Cincinnati Reds.
