Hamburger, Hot Dog Buns Recalled Due To Plastic Contamination

(ONN) – Hamburger and hot dog buns and other bakery products are getting pulled off shelves due to possible plastic contamination.

Flowers Foods says the items were sold in more than a dozen states including Ohio.

The buns were from brands sold in stores like Walmart, Kroger and Aldi.

They had “best by” dates of July 18 and July 19.

So far, no issues have been reported.

Anyone with any of the products should return them to the place of purchase.
