HOF Village-Area Annexation Could Lead to New Hotel

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A Canton developer has a bigger footprint near the Pro Football Hall of Fame, now that city council has approved the annexation of four properties in the Fulton Road NW corridor near 26th Street.
Mayor Tom Bernabei says Steve Lamiell plans to build a hotel there when the Hall of Fame Village is developed.
The four properties totalling 1.8 acres will be added to the 4 acres Lamiell already owns.
The property was annexed from Plain Township.
