Home Invasion leaves one man Dead

A 24-year old Canton man is dead after police say he attempted a home invasion robbery on 2nd Street Northwest early this morning.
Police say hospital officials alerted them to a man brought in with gunshot wounds. They determined 24-year old Nicholas Hug and another person tried to enter the home and were shot by the homeowner. Hug died at the hospital. The other suspect – 27-year old Joi (Joy) Griffith of Canton, has now been apprehended and charged.
