Husted: $250 Million in Budget for Broadband

COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC and ONN) – There’s $250 million in the new state budget for low-cost broadband internet access for some of the 100 million Ohioans who don’t have it.

Lt Governor Jon Husted says they’d like to find a way to lower the monthly fee to as low as $17.

He says he can’t promise that.

Husted also says the money does not get affordable internet access to everyone who needs it.
