I-77 Drivers Through Akron: Changes Coming Wednesday

AKRON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – More changes on your commute through Akron.

I-77 North is closing at the Central Interchange starting first thing Wednesday.

So, the detour signs will take you to Route 224/I-277 West and the recently reopened northbound Kenmore Leg of the Beltway system.

As part of the additional pavement work being done along mainline I-76/77, the Route 8 Southbound ramp at the Central Interchange is also closed.
