Jackson Man Given 25 to Life in Massillon Theater Killing

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A 21-year-old Jackson Township man was sentenced Tuesday to 25 years to life in prison.
He was charged in the May shooting death of a Canton man inside the Regal Cinemas building in Massillon.
Corvon Thomas entered guilty pleas to murder and other charges in the death of 27-year-old Daron Davis.
A 19-year-old woman was also injured in the gunfire.
The two men reportedly had an earlier disagreement, and happened to run into each other at the theater back in May.
He apologized at his sentencing hearing.
