Jordan Luplow Lands On IL

The Cleveland Indians placed outfielder Jordan Luplow on the 10-day injured list with a right hamstring strain. Luplow suffered the injury after stealing third in the seventh inning of the Tribe’s 1-0 loss to Texas last night.

It marks the first career placement on the Injured List at the Major League level for Luplow.

To fill his spot, the Indians recalled outfielder Greg Allen once again from AAA Columbus. During his stint with the Tribe July 6-31 he batted .313 (15-for-48) with 8 runs and 7 RBI in 18 games.
