Lake Township Woman Arrested for Second OVI in Seven Months

MASSILLON (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A Lake township woman was arrested by Massillon police yesterday after being involved in her second alcohol and drug related car accident within the last seven months.
Officers say 30 year old Sarah Darner had been drinking alcohol and snoring heroin, which led her to fall asleep at the wheel. Jail records show she was arrested at the scene of an accident at Lincoln Way East and Wales Road North East after crashing into another vehicle.
No details on the severity of the crash or if anyone was injured. Darner was jailed on charges of heroin possession, OVI, driving under OVI suspension and speeding. She was released hours after her arrest on her own recognizance.
