Last Day on Job for Longtime Stark Court Administrator

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – It’s the final workday Thursday for Dwaine Hemphill, the longtime administrator of the Stark County Court of Common Pleas.
Hemphill essentially runs the historic building downtown at Market Avenue N and West Tusc.
He’s worked for Stark County government for 35 years.
He started out in the public defender’s office.
Hemphill is retiring to spend more time with his grandchildren.
Cortney Morgan who has been in the building takes over the job effective September 9.
Morgan has federal court and extensive business experience.
