MASSILLON, Ohio (News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – Things are better, but there’s a long way to go.
That’s the assessment of the city of Chicago, eight months after Massillon-native and Windy City Mayor Lori Lightfoot took office.
She took time to check out a big Tigers football victory Friday night.
She also talked to 1480 WHBC’s Pam Cook.
She says murders are down from last year and significantly from the last three years, but not enough.
Lightfoot was in the marching band during her Washington High School days.
She was in town for her mother’s 91st birthday.
