Lightning Was Cause of Amish Flea Market Fire

SUGARCREEK (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The Ohio Division of the State Fire Marshall has determined it was a lightning strike that caused the fire at the Walnut Creek Amish Flea Market last week.
The fire started in the early hours of the morning on August 21. It took firefighters from four counties to put it out. About half of the flea market, which is located on State Route 39 in Sugarcreek, was destroyed. No one was injured.
