PRIMARY 2024: ‘Local Options’: How to Add, Expand Alcohol Sales at Your Business

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – There are ten “local options” on ballots across Stark County for the Primary Election.

And if you own a business and want to sell beer and liquor or add Sunday sales, Interim Superintendent of the Division of Liquor Control of the state commerce department Paul Kulwinski says it’s not that difficult.

But an experienced attorney can help, and there are several of them in Ohio.

And businesses should consider other rules the liquor division may look at, like location of nearby schools.

The division does list most voting precincts that are dry.

Expanded Early Voting continues this week with hours Saturday 8 to 4 and Sunday 1 to 5.
