Mahoning Man Charged in Alliance Walmart Threat

PLEASE NOTE:  The Stark County Grand Jury declined to indict Paulos and this case was dismissed.

ALLIANCE, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A 24-year-old Beloit man was arraigned last week in Alliance Municipal Court.

He’s accused of threatening to shoot up or blow up the Alliance Walmart store on West State Street.

Joshua Paulos is charged with felony ‘making a terroristic threat’.

Alliance police say he sent a social media message to an employee at the store, saying he would be there with “guns blazing”.

That happened last Wednesday afternoon.

Paulos was arrested early Thursday morning.
