Canton Man Arrested After Trying to Rob Employer

CANTON (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A Canton man was arrested on Tuesday after he was preparing to rob his own place of employment. Canton Police were called at 9 AM after a masked man was spotted spacing outside a pizza shop, right before it was about to open for the day.

Officers arrived and arrested a 19 year-old man who in addition to fitting the description, also had a realistic looking handgun in his possession, outside of the store. It was later that officers found out Guy A Mack III was an employee of the Pizza establishment he allegedly intended to rob.

Mack was jailed on an aggravated robbery charge.
