Man Dead, Another Saved in Fiery Akron Crash

AKRON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A 32-year-old man is dead in Akron after the vehicle he was driving crashed into a tree and caught fire.

The incident happened in a parking lot along Romig Road Tuesday night.

No word on what led up to that accident.

People nearby were able to pull a 35-year-old male passenger from the wreckage just before it caught fire.

He suffered non-life threatening injuries according to Akron police.
