Man Shot in Canton in Alleged Home Invasion-Type Incident

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Canton police are investigating an alleged home invasion shooting incident from Wednesday.

The victim’s wife says a man she did not recognize entered the couple’s home near the dead end of Wertz Avenue SW.

He went into a bedroom and shot her husband.

The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the chest.

No word on his condition.
