Marlboro Plant to Close Early Next Year

MARLBORO TWP., Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A Marlboro Township manufacturer of packaging products tells the state that it is ending operations early next year.
PFC Flexible Packaging on Edison Street NE near Marlboro Avenue has filed a WARN (Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act) plant closing notice with the Department of Job and Family Services.
68 jobs are being lost, though some employees may be able to move to other company facilities, according to a letter written to the state.
Job cuts will begin just after the new year and last through the end of March.
